Pope JP2 Awards
On Tuesday May 6th – Bishop Fintan Monahan presented Pope John 2 Awards to eight Senior students at a ceremony in the school. Four recepients were each presented with a gold award and the remaining four having already received a gold award last year were each presented with a Papal Cross Award. The eight students received these awards in recognition of the voluntary work that they have carried out in recent times in the school, their local communities and their parishes. The presentation of these awards to this group of students is one way that the work they have done in the service of others as Christian witnesses is acknowledged by their communities – parishes and indeed the diocese.
