Boys Basketball Update.
Over the past two weeks our 1st and 2nd year boys teams have been in action trying to secure their place in the regional final on March 24th.
Our 1st year team put in a lot of hard work to come together as a team and get set up. In their first game against Oughterard it was neck and neck right up until the final minute of the game where the Oughterard team put up a three point shot to win the game by a single point.
When we faced Gort motivation was high among the squad to finish the game victorius. However, luck was not on our side that day and we lost to a very atheltic opposition.
Our 2nd year team hit the ground running and easily won both games they have played. Stand out performances from Andrew Shannon, Luca Quinn, Oran Biswas, Jason O’Neill, Shay Gleeson and Conn O’Farrell ensured that this team would find their way into the regional final.
