A Fond Farewell to Bishop Willie Walsh
The remains of Bishop Willie Walsh were brought from his home earlier today, where he was given a heartfelt farewell by the school community. Staff, residents, close friends, and members of the Harty Cup and Camogie teams stood in tribute to pay their final respects to a true gentleman. He will lie in repose in SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, Ennis, from 3 pm to 7 pm this evening. It was a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to the school, its students, and the wider community. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
