Christmas Carol Service

Christmas carol singing by candlelight at St. Flannan’s College Irish tenor Dean Power returns to his alma mater of St. Flannan’s College in Ennis next Tuesday 17th December at 7pm to perform Christmas carols in a special candlelit service in the school chapel. Members of the public are invited to the event which also will commemorate the life and contributions of the late Rev. U19 Boys Soccer

Our U19 Soccer team bow out of the Munster Cup in the Round of 16 to a strong Killarney outfit. It took until extra time to separate the teams, with St. Brendan’s capitalising on the counter. Having entered the competition in September amongst 76 other teams, we are immensely proud of the lads for competing amongst the best into the later stages of this competition, and look forward to seeing what they do in the future. U16 & U19 Girls Basketball

The U16 and U19 girls teams competed in the regional semi-final and finals this week in Athea with the two finals being nailbiters. The U16s kicked the day off with a comfortable win against Killarney Community College in the semi final and this was followed up by the U19 team getting the better of familiar foes Killorglin in their semi final.   The U16 final was on first against a strong Nenagh team. Toy Appeal

Our pupils in the SVP group along with TY5 are running a toy appeal next week in aid of SVP . Each pupil in the school will receive a token this week with a specific child and age to donate a present to . 1st Year Ladies Soccer

  Our girls soccer team had their first outing this Thursday against St Caimins. With a squad of 34 players, they headed to Lees Road and braved the wind and the rain. The white team were first up against St Caimins Blue team. The result did not go our way but our girls had a great performance.    Next up was our Blue team. We had our first competitive goal of the year from Emma.
