The start of the year has been busy for members of our Under 16 and Under 19 teams.
For the Under 16s it has been all about getting used to working with eachother at this new age group and understanding the pressure that will be put on them in their future games for the school. This squad have not had the opportunity to prove themselves in a game yet this year but we are scheduled to play Gort next Tuesday the 21st of October.

On Friday the 10th of October, 90 TY students and 10 members of staff participated in the annual Shine a Light Focus Ireland sleep out.
This is a nationwide initaive where schools and other groups across the country participate in order to raise awareness about homelessness in Ireland.
Over the last numbers of years students of St Flannan’s College have raised over €20,000. We are continuing to raise funds this year.

St. Flannan’s College proved too strong for Kilrush Community School this afternoon, sealing a commanding 4-13 to 2-2 victory.
The match kicked off in stunning fashion, with Ali Donnelly netting 2 early goals for St. Flannan’s to set the tone. Her clinical finish was followed up by a series of well-taken points from Neasa Meaney. Late in the first half, Kilrush managed to bag two quick goals, to get them on the scoreboard.
