A special shout-out to:
Leana (6th year) who claimed the title of Munster Schools Swimming Champion in the 100m freestyle with a personal best time of 58 seconds and also won silver in the 100m butterfly.
Sean (6th year), who achieved an incredible milestone by swimming under a minute in the 100m butterfly with a time of 59 seconds, earning him the bronze.
Luka (TY), who also set a personal best in the 100m breaststroke, taking home bronze.

The first year ladies football team had their first games on Wednesday when they hosted two teams from Colaiste Mhuire. Two high quality games of football were played in perfect conditions. The sides will meet again later in the year in the Clare Schools LGFA 1st year competition.

Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal is an annual campaign that delivers gifts straight into the hands of children affected by poverty. Often these shoe box gifts are the only gift that a child will receive at Christmas and the joy that they bring is incredible.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Years walked down to the Cathedral on Thursday for an Opening Year Mass. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. McCormack. It was a beautiful, prayerful and uplifting service, with music provided by our school choir and musicians. The students are to be commended on their excellent behaviour throughout the morning.

Taize is an ecumenical monastic community – situated in Burgundy in France. During the summer twenty one young people and three adult leaders from the diocese spent a week on pilgrimage in Taize. During this week they engaged in daily prayer, reflection and discussion. They got to encounter fellow young Christians from all corners of the world. It truly was an enriching and transformative experience for all who participated in this Diocesan Pilgrimage.
