Our upcoming school open day for 6th class students and their parents will be held on Friday 20th October. The open day will run from 10.00AM until 1.00PM. A number of teachers and students have organised a committee to discuss a number of fundraising initiatives to help with the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. The aim of this Committee is to organise a number of fundraising initiatives to help with the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Furthermore, the second aim of this Committee is to create awareness among the school community to explain what is happening between Russia and Ukraine at present. Due to the huge demand for first year places in St Flannan’s Killaloe Diocesan College the Patron and Board of management of St. Flannan’s College has revisited our intake for this year. Following a careful review of our teacher allocation and our accommodation provision we are in a position to offer a further 24 places in the first-year class, bringing the total number to 240.
