HerSport Workshops
We were delighted to welcome Ailish Considine to the school last week to deliver workshops on behalf of HerSport to some of our 2nd Year classes and to our TY Active Schools class. The workshops tackled the barriers girls face in sport, building confidence, knowledge, and a sense of belonging. It was incredible to have such an accomplished athlete as Ailish there to share some of her own experiences. Thanks to Ailish and all at HerSport (tag hersport.ie). These workshops were organised by the Active SFC group as part of their actions for this school year, helping to address barriers to physical activity and enabling more students to develop a love of physical activity.
