Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we begin the summer holidays, we hope your family enjoys a well-earned break. Please take a moment to read the important information below to help prepare for the new school year in September.

 

Summer Exam results for 1st, 2nd, 5th & Transition Year students will be made available on Friday 13th through the school App & Vsware. Notification will be sent to parents/guardians when they have been published.

The provisional school calendar for 2025/2026 is attached below as a PDF and has also been updated on the School App & website.

 

If your son/daughter will not be returning to St. Flannan’s in the new school year, please inform us by email or in writing as soon as possible.

 

Please make sure we have up-to-date contact information. Send any changes (address, phone number, etc.) to info@stflannanscollege.ie.

 

The School App is now our main communication and administration platform for parents/guardians.

Absences, permissions, and parent notes must now be submitted through the App.

 

Full school uniform is required.

White runners, grey jeans, leggings, tracksuits, and facial piercings are not allowed. Dark shoes are permitted.

Only the official school jacket may be worn inside the school.

Uniforms are available from McCannon’s (Market Street) and Pyne’s (Abbey Street), Ennis.

Jackets can also be purchased from Central Sports Kilrush https://centralsports.ie/  or Boru Sports Ennis. 

 

If you do not wish your child’s photo to be used on school platforms or publications, please complete the Photography Consent Form on the School App.

 

If your child requires medication to be stored in the school, please complete the Medical Form on the School App.

Parents are responsible for ensuring that all medication is in date and clearly labelled.

Admin/Insurance Contribution

€125 per student. Payment links have been forwarded on the school app shop.

 

All books/Stationery will be provided by the schools on the first week back. 

 

Lockers for 1st, 2nd & 3rd have been paid for in 1st year for the 3 years. (Incoming 1st years will receive a link through the school App) We recommend a 35mm key lock (not a combination lock).

Lockers for 5th & 6th Year will be allocated to students who have reserved one. 5th year lockers will have a combination lock installed (Link will be sent on the school App)

 

Our Code of Behaviour and all school policies are available to view on the School App or on our website.
