Senior Ladies record dominant win in Round 1

St. Flannan’s College proved too strong for Kilrush Community School this afternoon, sealing a commanding 4-13 to 2-2 victory.
The match kicked off in stunning fashion, with Ali Donnelly netting 2 early goals for St. Flannan’s to set the tone. Her clinical finish was followed up by a series of well-taken points from Neasa Meaney. Late in the first half, Kilrush managed to bag two quick goals, to get them on the scoreboard.
The second half provided a valuable opportunity for St. Flannan’s to give game time to their entire squad, with all 12 substitutes seeing action. It also marked the debut for several players at senior level, many of whom impressed with their performances. The scoreline continued to tick over as St. Flannan’s added further goals and points, taking full advantage of their depth.
Round 2 is the focus after midterm, where St. Flannan’s will face St. John Bosco’s.
