Fr. Joe McMahon Memorial Run
This Sunday 4th October, a special Memorial Run takes place in Scariff in memory of our former colleague and friend Fr. Joe McMahon. Fr. Joe was a much-loved member of the St. Flannan’s College community, throughout his time as a teacher and later as president of the college. After his time in St. Flannan’s, Fr. Joe served the diocese in the Inis Cealtra Pastoral area, where this event takes place on Sunday. Please see details here:
The Fr. Joe McMahon Memorial Run takes place in Scariff on Sunday 4th October 2026.
This is a 5K/10K run/walk. Race start time is at 12 sharp.

Manual registrations are available on the morning of the race from 9:30 to 11:30 at Scariff GAA hall or you can pre-register here.
